TheCHALLENGE
'REGION WITHOUT WASTE' is a platform that unites all 18 municipalities from the Pelagonia and Southwest regions in their commitment to sustainable, efficient, and responsible waste management, and the creation of a modern and effective waste management system. The existing digital presence of Salar did not fully communicate the scale, professionalism, and capabilities of the SALAR platform. The website needed to present a large amount of information in a way that felt simple, modern, and easy to navigate for potential clients.
Research &STRATEGY
Research focused on understanding two very different audiences sharing one platform: citizens seeking transparency into regional waste management, and the 18 municipal partners who needed a secure, standardized way to manage shared data. The strategy prioritized organizing a large volume of news, resources, and interactive indicators into clear, digestible sections, while carving out a dedicated partner portal built around municipal workflows rather than public browsing.

DesignAPPROACH
The design approach paired an open, informational public hub with a secure, login-based partner portal built specifically for municipal collaboration. Interactive dashboards make regional waste indicators easy to explore and compare over time, while a clear content structure keeps news, resources, and events organized despite the platform's scale. The result presents a complex, multi-municipality initiative as one coherent, trustworthy digital experience.
